Highlight Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service and connect your TikTok account.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Highlight Tracker and authorize TikTok integration, we collect only the minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• TikTok Account Identifier: Your public TikTok username / display name and internal TikTok open identifier (Open ID).
• OAuth Authentication Tokens: Access tokens and refresh tokens issued by TikTok to authorize API requests on your behalf.
• Publication Metadata: Temporary status information regarding uploaded video clips (e.g. video processing status, publish request timestamps).

We do not access or store your TikTok passwords, private messages, personal financial data, or viewing history.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

• Authenticate and maintain connection to your TikTok account.
• Upload requested video clips directly into your TikTok drafts or inbox via the TikTok Content Posting API.
• Display upload status and publish history inside your user dashboard or Telegram bot.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We interact with third-party service providers solely to fulfill service operations:

• TikTok API: Video data and authorization tokens are transmitted directly to TikTok servers in accordance with TikTok's API documentation. For details, review the TikTok Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your information:

• OAuth tokens are securely stored in an encrypted database accessible only to authorized services.
• All network communications between our servers and TikTok APIs are encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Uploaded video files are stored temporarily on secure storage and deleted after successful processing and upload.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account tokens only for as long as your account remains connected to the Service.

How to revoke access and delete your data:

• Disconnect via TikTok: You can revoke our app's permissions at any time in the TikTok mobile app (Settings and Privacy → Security → Manage app permissions).
• Request Data Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your stored tokens, user profile link, and publication history by contacting us or issuing a deletion request through the bot interface. Upon request, all associated credentials and records are permanently removed from our databases within 7 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
